here i am, wordless again

i've not posted for a little while.
i guess that's because i'm not sure what to say.
any suggestions? any questions?
for months most everything i've written has
been a disappointment.
this isn't me begging for compliments,
rather i'm just being honest.

despite my lack of actual writing,
inside i'm feeling a resurgence in my desire to write.
this doesn't mean that anything will come to fruition
but being given the desire to create again feels good.
i give up too easily so for now, i'm going to try.
it's been declared here so you can hold me to it.

  1. I enjoy pretty much anything you write. I think perhaps you are being too hard on yourself.

But for the sake of suggestions, I think you should post hair pictures (I know you had Cornerstone pics, but hair needs its own attention!), also Cornerstone stories would be cool.

Or you could snap a few pictures along bike rides.

You can start a picture a day thing, and then write a little about your picture. By the way, you told me abou this really cool book with a photographer who isolted himself somewhere and allowed himself one picture a day. Who was that? I just thought about it a while ago and couldn't remember.

Anyway, that may not help much, but maybe it will some. This comment sure is long enough.

I hope you have a good day, and a good weekend, too!

  2. Yeah, Cornerstone stories would be good. I'm working on my post about that, will hopefully *finally* have that up like today or tomorrow. I tried to write it all last week but kept getting interrupted it seemed.

Better do it soon, though, or you'll forget. Or is that just me, who had to struggle to remember what happened on particular days at Cornerstone? *gets old*

No other particular suggestions or questions at the moment. Will let you know if I come up with any ideas.

  3. yes, i do need to write about cornerstone. i write about it in my head fairly often so it's probably time to get serious about it.

jamie, that photographer's name is jim brandenburg. he's inspiring and i WILL see him speak someday, as he regularly has speaking engagements.

  4. Since I'm not sure where else to reply to your Xanga comment:

Yeah! The Danielson movie is great! It's semi-low budget, but very well made. The interviews are really interesting. I think I'm going to buy it when I can.

And thanks! :) Have a great day.
